Do you charge a delivery fee?

Delivery within Bexar County, TX no additional charge. However, if your location falls beyond this range, an additional delivery fee of $20 cover the extra distance over 25 miles to 50 miles.

Do I need to be present during the dumpster delivery?

Yes, iRock Dumpsters requires an adult to be present at the time of the delivery to ensure the dumpster is placed correctly and to go over a few rules and tips on dumpster use. Also, so we can answer any questions you might have on-site.

Do I need a permit to place a dumpster on my property?

If the dumpster is placed on private property like your driveway, you typically do not need a permit. However, if you plan to place the dumpster on public property, such as the street, you may need a permit from your local city or town. We recommend checking with your local regulations to determine if a permit is necessary.

How much stuff can I put in the dumpster?

As much as you want, just make sure to keep the garbage/ junk/ waste within the dumpster sides and make sure that the rear doors can close, so it can be tarped properly and secured during transport. Use the maximum load level signs on the dumpsters as a guide.

Do you load up the garbage/ junk/ waste for me?

Currently at this time we do not offer dumpster garbage/ junk/ waste loading service.

Will a dumpster damage my driveway/ yard?

We do our best to carefully deliver and pick up these dumpsters, but they are, of course, very heavy. If you are worried about a specific area of your property where the dumpster will be dropped, we suggest laying down a large piece(s) of plywood. iRock Dumpsters is not responsible for any damages to the surface where a dumpster may be located, but we will do our best to accommodate all needs.

How much do you charge for the weight of the dumpster?

We charge $0.09 cents per pound after the included 2 tons.

How much weight is included in the rental?

Your 1st 2 tons of weight are included.

What types of waste is not allowed in the dumpster?

For safety and environmental reasons, we prohibit hazardous materials such as motor oil, paint, batteries, tires, asbestos, sealed containers like tanks or drums, chemicals, propane tanks and pesticides in our dumpsters. We advise consulting with local regulations for the disposal of these items.

What about appliances, mattresses and couches?

Certain appliances and furniture can be included for an additional charge. Call or email for details.

What about concrete, top soil, rock, etc.?

iRock Dumpsters doesn’t allow these materials in any of the dumpsters currently available.

General Household Items
Household items like housewares, personal items, clothing, plastics, and paper are welcome.

Home Electronics
We accept a range of electronics, including TVs, computers, and printers.

Home Small Appliances
Small appliances like toasters, microwaves, blenders, crock pots.

Home Large Appliances
Large appliances like stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, ovens, AC Units, swamp coolers, freezers, and refrigerators. ($75 per item)

Bulky Items
Mattresses, Box Springs, Large Furniture ($40 additional charge per item)

Tires
Small Tires ($45 per item)
Tires with a Rim ($50 per item)
Large Tires ($70 per item)

Batteries
Absolutely no batteries are allowed, including car batteries or lithium batteries of any kind.

Biohazardous Materials
Items such as fecal matter, deceased animals, medical waste, and any material contaminated with potentially infectious substances cannot be disposed of in our dumpsters.

Food Waste
Our service does not accept food waste, including but not limited to leftovers, spoiled food, fruit and vegetable peels, coffee grounds, eggshells, bones, and other kitchen scraps. Please dump all food waste into your regular city provided garbage cans.

Weapons
Please do not dispose of any weapons, firearms, ammunition, or related items in our dumpsters. These materials are potentially dangerous and require special disposal procedures that are beyond the scope of our standard services.

*Construction and Heavy Materials
Concrete, rock, sod, and bricks are not allowed due to potential damage, as well as their specific procedures in regards to dumping these types of materials.
*No Roofing material of any kind.

Paint and Chemicals
Paint cans, Solvents, Lubricants
